Chase is an American cinematographer who has shot over twenty feature films, worked with directors such as Josh Whedon and Sam Hargrave, and musical acts such as Taylor Swift, Katy Perry, and The Roots.  His films have been screened at festivals such as Tribeca, Cannes, SXSW, and distributed by Sundance Selects, IFC, Netflix, Universal, and Paramount Pictures.  Collectively his work has been viewed 1 billion times on YouTube.  Chase has worked on projects on five continents and now splits his time between Los Angeles and Prague. 

Starting with the Red One Digital camera, Chase has been an early adopter and evangelist for new cinema technology [See American Cinematographer Article below].  Chase, with his long-time friend and collaborator, Seth Johnson, has created a new way to light sets using augmented reality [watch Light Wave video] and started a company that seeks to unify the physical and virtual spaces inherent to virtual production [Jestr Studios].
